Painter and illustrator, Carla Fuentes (Valencia, 1986), is filling the walls of the new art collectors with her precious feism anchored in acrylics, waxes and graphites. Possibly without being too aware of it, she is painting the aesthetic life of an entire generation.

Carla Fuentes grew up naturally, surrounded by the oil paints of the Equipo Crónica and Eduardo Arroyo, the new generations are doing so surrounded by austere landscapes and imperfect portraits. She was one of the few Spanish artists to participate in the exhibit ‘Obey Icon Tour’ organized by the artist Shepard Fairey and one of the youngest illustrators to appear in volume number 5 of ‘Illustration Now’ published by Taschen, the biannual bible of international illustration. Graduate in Fashion Design and Fine Arts from the Universidad San Carlos de Valencia, she has created images and record covers for bands and singers such as Polock, Russian Red, Ariel Pink, among others.
