The “Liceu under 35 action” was created with the intention of breaking with the elitist image that is normally held of Barcelona’s emblematic theater and bringing opera closer to the younger generations. This season’s “Liceu Under 35” performances are Tosca by Giacomo Puccini, L’Incoronazione di Poppea by Claudio Monteverdi, Alexina B. by Raquel García Tomás and Dido & Aeneas by Henry Purcel.
