Anna Falcó

Anna Falcó is an illustrator, graphic designer and textile designer born and raised in Barcelona.

She studied graphic design at the Massana School, in Barcelona and at the UDK (Universität Der Kunste), in Berlin.

She did several artistic courses such as ceramics, jewelry, hat making and silk screening among others. After that she specialized as an illustrator doing a master in creative illustration at Eina School, Barcelona. There she found her passion.

Anna Falcó works freelance since 2011 and continues to grow and evolve as a professional in a self-taught way based on courses, workshops and various projects both personal and professional. She currently combines her work as a freelance illustrator with that of print designer for a textile company.

The work of Anna Falcó is characterized by being very versatile adapting to the demands of the commissions received; adopting different styles from the quite childlike to the very conceptual. She also uses a wide range of different techniques both digital and manual from aniline dyes, to pen and collaging. Her most personal work is a bit more abstract. It is based above all on form and color.

Anna Falcó has illustrated for advertising, packaging, posters, press articles and magazines, has painted murals and published children’s books for start-up publishers. She deeply enjoys each new project, learning new things, and researching new methods, techniques and languages.

Some of the clients that Anna has worked with are Desigual, Titanlux, Barça Kids, TV3, MNAC (National Museum of Art of Catalonia), the Generalitat of Catalonia, APTO, World Family Ibiza, Upala Books or Capçalera Magazine among many others.
